Brown Sugar Cinnamon Syrup

- 1 cup water
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch salt
Add water, brown sugar, and cinnamon sticks to a small saucepan.
Bring to a simmer over medium heat.
Simmer 5–8 minutes, until the syrup thickens slightly.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla and salt.
Let cool before storing.
