Vanilla Bean Syrup

Ingredients

water

sugar

vanilla bean
split

tsp
vanilla extract
Pinch
of salt
Instructions
Split vanilla bean and scrape the seeds.
Add water, sugar, seeds, and pod to a saucepan.
Simmer 5–7 minutes.
Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract + salt.
Cool and bottle.
Notes
Use real vanilla beans for best flavor. Leave pod in bottle for stronger infusion.
